CRB vetting of contract/supplier staff
South Shropshire District Council checks certain of its own staff via the CRB - Criminal Records Bureau.
Criminal Records Bureau checks are carried out for those staff that work with or may come into contact with children and vulnerable adults.
This will include leisure centre staff and those staff that may be required to carry out repairs to play equipment, public toilets and leisure sites.
South Shropshire District Council also checks certain 'responsible posts' such as accountants.
