Church Stretton Town Council Election 21-08-2008
Elections are due to take place on Thursday 21st August 2008 to fill three vacancies on Church Stretton Town Council. Two vacancies are for the South Ward of the Town Council and the third vacancy is for the All Stretton Ward.
District and Parish Council Elections are held every four years.
If during the four-year period a vacancy occurs due to the resignation of death of a District or Parish Councillor an election will be held for that vacancy with the successful candidate being elected for the remaining period of the four year term.
A poll will only take place in the stated area if there are more candidates than there are seats available.
