Research and Visitor Surveys
Better Welcome Visitor Research
Three towns in South Shropshire - Bishop's Castle, Church Stretton and Ludlow - are participating in the Better Welcome for Market Towns programme, launched in October 2006 and funded by Advantage West Midlands. Part of the work was to ascertain the views of a sample of 200 visitors on various aspects of 28 towns in the West Midlands. The results were used to benchmark each town against the others in Shropshire and the region.
Earlier in 2008 the completed reports from the Visitor Survey were presented to the Better Welcome Steering Groups in the three towns. These are now downloadable from this page.
