DATA PROTECTION ACT:
All information will be treated as confidential and will not be passed on to any unauthorised persons.
 
However, South Shropshire District Council may pass on some information to meet legal or welfare needs, or if it is felt that it is in the public interest or to protect public funds.
 
Information will also be passed on to the Local Taxation Division of the Council to work out and help collect any Council Tax that must be paid. Information will also be sent to a central register to be used in the detection and prevention of fraud.
