EU funded projects in South Shropshire 2002-2008
South Shropshire Strategic Package:
'Sustainable Market Towns in South Shropshire'
We are currently managing nine of these projects under umbrella of the 'South Shropshire Strategic Package'. Through this package we have been able to secure more than £4,100,000 of European Objective 2 money in South Shropshire, and the positive benefits will be here for years to come.
Objective 2 European Funds have contributed towards nine projects in South Shropshire under the umbrella of the South Shropshire Package:
SSDC's Regeneration Team has been very successful in bidding for European Funds from Objective 2. All over the District our projects are helping to bring prosperity and lasting economic stability and Europe's contribution is fundamental to our success. Using this money we have completed ten projects so far (listed below).
and two are still running until June 2008:
