Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the new Nationwide Bus Pass on any bus service to anywhere in the country?
Your new Nationwide Bus Pass will be valid on any local bus service throughtout England.  E.g. If you visit a relative in Cornwall, you will able to use the local bus services in that area.  If a relative visits you in South Shropshire, he/she will be able to use the local bus services in South Shropshire.  You will not be able to use your pass to purchase National Express tickets.

You may also use your pass for return journeys from Shropshire into Powys.  (Please note:  You can not use your pass for journeys within Wales.)

Will I be able to use my new Nationwide Bus Pass before 9.30am?
The full terms and conditions will be sent to you with your new bus pass.

What if I change my address?
Please telephone Customer Services on 0845 678 9000.

How long will my new bus pass be valid for?
For a minimum of 12 months from the 1st April 2008.

Why does the photogragh have to be a certain size/specification?
The new bus pass will have your photogragh electronically scanned on to it.  This is similar to the new style driving licence.
