Chairmans Flood Relief Fund
Emergency Grants for Individuals and Families
Who can apply?
Individuals or families whose homes have significant structural damage or flooding of habitable areas (not just gardens or garages)· Employees who have lost work or income because of storm or flood
We can particularly provide support with the following:
- Cleaning up
- Cookers and kettles
- Emergency repairs
- Clothing
- Child care equipment (e.g. sterilizing equipment)
- Food and drink
- Beds and bedding
- Heating and heating equipment
- Basic furniture
We can consider other requests not mentioned on this list.
Priority will normally be given to households with:
- People on low incomes
- Children under the age of 5
- People over 70
- People with physical or learning disabilities or mental health needs
(e.g. receiving Disability Living Allowance; Incapacity Benefit or Attendance Allowance)
If you want to apply, please read the following details carefully.....
We will not normally fund:
- People who are fully insured
- Vehicles
- Businesses
Initial Grant will not normally exceed £500.
We may also ask you for the name of someone who is known to you and can vouch for your circumstances.
