Environmental Building Conferences

South Shropshire is a beautiful place in which to live, work, or visit, but its picture postcard status has no sway when it comes to global warming. The unseasonable April weather is a timely reminder that we all need to respond positively to the challenges of climate change.
These environmental building conferences represent a snapshot of current work in the field of green building technology, with some real life examples from South Shropshire. It aims to explore the potential for introducing more sustainable building practices into both new build and existing historic stock.
These conference will, through the use of real examples, explore the potential for introducing more sustainable building practices into both new build and existing historic building stock, with special reference to how positive Town Planning practice can assist and guide proposals towards greater environmental sustainability.
It will consider how best practice can be used to require new and traditional building technologies to tackle the issues of climate change in a usable and environmentally friendly way.
