The Health Act 2006
How will the new smoke-free legislation affect you?
From 1st July 2007 a law requiring smoke-free environments in most workplaces, work vehicles and public transport in England was implemented.
It makes sure that almost all workers, regardless of their place of work, will be protected from exposure to second-hand smoke and guaranteed the right to smoke-free air.
