Our Commitment to Sustainability
The Council recognises its responsibility of stewardship for the environment and its contribution towards securing the current and future prosperity and well being of people living in South Shropshire.
We recognise our part in acting locally to meet a wider global agenda for sustaining resources, being responsible in how we operate as an organisation and in the services we provide.
We are committed to operating within a framework in which economic, environmental and social factors are integrated and balanced and in a way, which improves the quality of life now and for generations to come.
