Cittaslow Ludlow
Ludlow is the first Cittaslow, or 'Slow City', in the UK. This means our town is now a member of a growing international network of towns 'where it is good to live'. As a Cittaslow, Ludlow has signed up to a set of goals, aimed at improving the quality of life for all the people who live and work in the town. These goals also extend to visitors. Rather than regarding them as 'tourists', a Cittaslow treats all visitors as if they are residents of the town, whose needs should be anticipated and catered for fully.
The Ludlow Marches MTI has awarded funding to purchase a range of promotional and information material for Cittaslow and to support a part time Development Worker.
