Equality and diversity
The Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 places a responsibility on every public servant for ensuring race equality in the delivery of public services.
The District Council acknowledges the impact it has on the community and through its employment practices, service provision and policies will ensure equal opportunity is mainstreamed within the organisation.
