Progress Report April 2005
This report was produced jointly by the Shropshire Air Quality Management Group in the spring of 2005. It was a simple update of any changes in the area that may have a significant impact on air quality. It also summarised the results of air pollution monitoring that had taken place since the Detailed Assessment of March 2005 and the Updating and Screening Assessment of 2003.
In South Shropshire the Progress Report identified:
- that there were no significant new developments that would impact on air quality
- that monitoring of nitrogen dioxide and benzene pollution did not show any likely issues from these pollutants (note this conclusion was revisited in the Air Quality Review and Assessment 2006)
