What is it - A Festival of Sport

It is a culmination of sports development activity across the county and aims to celebrate the fantastic work being done by schools, clubs and local authorities within a range of sports.
The Opening Ceremony usually takes place at midday. This involves all 6 district teams their coaches, family, friends and councilor's taking part in a mass warm up inside RAF Cosford's main arena.
From 1pm - 4.45pm, the main sporting competitions take place across 7 different sports. Each District within the county will be sending teams of boys and girls to take part and undoubtedly the competition will be of a high standard and keenly contested.
In addition to the main competition, there is lots of fun to be had as there will be additional activities that will be open to participants and spectators alike. These include fitness classes and come & try it sessions in various sports. The event, which concludes with a Closing Ceremony at 5pm, promises to be a memorable experience for all involved.
A Tri-It Night will be held at Ludlow School on Thursday 17th May 4pm - 6pm where you will be able to Tri-Out for your favoured sport.
