Council Tax and Business Rates
You can pay your Council Tax and Business Rates online via - Alliance & Leicester BillPay Website - Please Note:- For Customers with 9 digit Council Tax account references you must place 70 at the beginning.

Planning Applications
The Planning portal allows you to submit and pay for a planning application on line and provides general advice about planning and building regulations.

Local Land Charges Search
Solicitors can now submit and pay for searches via the National Land information service

If you do not wish to make payments online you can pay by post, visiting the office or by phone - Other methods of payment
The Council will accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Visa Delta and Credit Cards for any of our services.
Making a Payment by Post
Please make cheques payable to South Shropshire District Council and remember to include:-
- Your address
- Your Property Number or Your Account Number
to allow your details to be verified and for an appropriate response to be made.

Making a Payment by BACS
Instruct your bank to pay Lloyds Bank PLC 30:00:00 for the account of South Shropshire District Council - Head Office Collection Account 03394956, quoting your account reference number.
By Telephone
You can pay over the telephone on 01584 813312 using:
- Debit or Credit Cards
(Note: a 2.5% transaction will be added to your payment if you pay by Credit Card.)
