Community Planning
All local authorities have a duty to produce a 'Community Strategy' which outlines how they can try and improve the economic, social, and environmental well-being of the district. South Shropshire District Council play a lead role in the South Shropshire Partnership which has developed our Community Strategy. The Partnership uses the strategy as a starting point for setting in action plans and schemes to help achieve sustainable development in the community.
The Community Strategy is a constantly developing document, and its future content will be shaped by consultations with local communities.
