Website Monitoring Reports
We understand that the availability of our website is very important to users.
To ensure that we maintain the maximum availability of our website and to warn us immediately if for any reason the website becomes unavailable we use an external company Server Monitoring (www.server-monitoring.co.uk/) to monitor the server that hosts www.southshropshire.gov.uk 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Server Monitoring use remote monitoring to test the availability (uptime) and performance of South Shropshire District Council's web site.
Whilst we aim to maintain a 100% uptime rating for the website it should be noted that it is occasionally necessary to shutdown the server that hosts our website for routine maintenance and we do make every effort to keep this down time to minimum.
