There are always certain words to remember when giving us information such as: -
- Who?
- What?
- Why?
- When?
- Where?
- How?
Instead of just saying that someone is working, state who is working? Where? What do they do? What time do they leave/return? How do they travel? What sort of car? What colour? What is the registration number? How long for?
Always remember that the more information at the start of an investigation the better. Getting the extra details can make the difference between a case not being investigated because we don't have enough details and the same case being prosecuted.
