Animals - stray
The Streetscene team at South Shropshire District Council take reports of lost or found dogs from members of the public.
During office hours (see below) contact Streetscene directly to arrange for a restrained dog to be collected. The offices are open 8.40am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.40am to 4.30pm on a Friday.
Out of Hours Service
In accordance with the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 South Shropshire District Council now provide kennels where stray dogs can be taken by members of the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Dogs are accepted at Birchill Kennels, Neen Sollars, Cleobury Mortimer, DY14 0AQ. They can be contacted on 01299 270406.
