Cleaner, Greener, Safer South Shropshire
Improving the quality of public space is a priority for the Government and aims to encourage people to pursue healthier lifestyles through exercise such as walking, cycling and active children's play.
In South Shropshire the Council employs an Environmental Improvement Officer who works closely with the police to enforce the new Cleaner Neighbourhoods Act 2005, particularly in relation to dog fouling and litter.
If you want to report any of the following:
- Abandoned vehicle
- Dead animal on the public highway
- Dog fouling
- Flyposting
- Graffiti
- Illegal dumping of rubbish or flytipping
- Incidence of animal nuisance
- Noise nuisance
- Problem in a park or open space
- Public toilet problem
- Recycling site problem

Community Safety Bulletin Board
This bulletin board allows you to report incidents of petty crime and vandalism that you may not wish to report to the police.
It will enable SSDC to identify where and when incidents of anti social behaviour, vandalism and petty crime are occurring within the District of South Shropshire. We hope that by receiving such information we can work with our partners in the police to identify any areas of particular concern where their stretched resources could be targeted.
We can also seek to share information with other agencies and partners to see if any pro-active diversionary work can be undertaken.
