Publication Scheme - Charges for Information
The Council will make no charge for examining any document contained within the publication scheme. However, a charge may be made at rates determined by the Council from time to time for documents like the Local Plan for which a charge is currently levied or for any photocopies which may be sought.
The scheme is meant to ensure that a significant amount of information is available routinely and without the need for people to make specific requests. It is also intended to encourage the publication of all relevant information proactively, so as to develop generally its culture of greater openness in public affairs within South Shropshire.
