Councillors - services and advice

An important part of a local Councillor's work relates to that undertaken within his/her ward.

As a ward Councillor, Councillor's are likely to be asked by their electors to help them resolve problems and be responsible for promoting and representing their ward.

They also deal with correspondence and face to face meetings with electors and receive and make telephone calls to discuss issues on behalf of electors with Council Officers and other officials.
