When will my benefit start being paid?
Benefit usually starts on the Monday after we receive your completed application form (all supporting information must be received within one month of us receiving your application form)
- Housing Benefit is usually paid every 4 weeks
- It can be paid direct to you or to your landlord
- Council Tax Benefit is credited to your Council Tax account and will show on your bill
