Home Energy Conservation Act Progress Report
The Council is aware that the Government is soon to introduce a new regime in respect of the improvement of private sector housing. In advance of the confirmation of the details of the Government's proposals, it has earmarked funding within its Capital Programme that it intend to employ in respect of private sector housing improvement. This is unlikely to extend to funding any element of energy efficiency improvement.
