Interceptions of Communications Policy
Interceptions of Communications
An investigation into possible criminal activities may require the interception of communications to obtain evidence. All interceptions of communications must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation of investigatory Powers Act 2000.
This Authority is able to carry out interceptions in some cases but not in others, and may also be required from time to time to assist other agencies in the course of their investigations.
