The Council operates an emergency contact service which can be obtained by telephoning 01584 813000 which will connect you to a message service giving you the telephone number of the 'Out of Hours' service or the opportunity to leave a message. This service should only be contacted for genuine emergencies.

We normally only update the District Council's website once a day and because of the amount of content on the website, each update takes several hours. Therefore we were conscious that we needed to find a way to provide up to date information during emergencies.
In the event of South Shropshire District Council needing to provide up-to-date information during a particular emergency we will use our emergency mini-site
