Planning Guidance Leaflets
South Shropshire District Council is committed to continuous improvement to its services through 'Best Value'.
A range of initiatives is being introduced to improve the quality and availability of planning services to the public by:
- improved administrative procedures;
- more openness in the way planning functions are carried out;
- better public access to information and advice.
As part of these initiatives, a series of Best Value Practice Notes (BVPNs) is being produced. These are intended to give clear and easily understood information and advice about:
- all aspects of the planning process;
- issues on which questions are frequently raised.
BVPNs are used by the Planning Department to give information to applicants and others users of the planning system at appropriate stages of the process. They are also available at any time on request.
If you require copies of the BVPNs listed below or require any other information, please telephone Planning Reception on (01584) 813360; or fax (01584) 813128; or e-mail planning@southshropshire.gov.uk
