Street litter bins
South Shropshire District Council's Streetscene team are responsible for arranging the installation of new public litter bins; and the repair of damaged bins.
Bins are emptied by the council's contractors, Veolia, and the frequency of emptying depends on the bins location and levels of use.
We provide a range of litter bins and also dog waste bins.
Most bins in new locations are funded by local town or parish councils.
If you notice a damaged bin, feel a bin is needed in a particular location, or feel a bin isn't being emptied frequently enough; please contact Streetscene on 01584 813394 or 01584 813238.
