Shropshire Healthy Eating Award (SHEA)

The Shropshire Healthy Eating Award (SHEA) encourages and rewards local caterers who offer healthier eating choices.
The scheme was launched in April 2006 by the six District and Borough Environmental Health departments in partnership with Shropshire County Primary Care Trust.
The award has been established in the light of recent Government campaigns and high-profile publicity regarding healthy eating messages.
Caterers who promote and provide healthier food options, meet smokefree requirements, and maintain good standards of food hygiene, are eligible for a Shropshire Healthy Eating Award.
There are four levels of award ranging from bronze and silver, to gold and
platinum - based on the level of compliance with the Award criteria by the entrants.
